Obituary of Carol Stewart

It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Carol Ann Stewart of New Glasgow on Friday, April 28, 2023.

Carol was born August 5, 1957 to Carol Vincent and Dolena Laura (DeYoung) Stewart.

Carol grew up in Foxbrook, being the only girl with her Mom’s passing at an early age.  Carol took on the responsibility of her family which made her the kind, loving and humble person that she was.

Carol’s contagious laugh and sense of humour would light up any room.  Carol was a friend to many, always ready to tell a story or lend a hand.  She enjoyed road trips with the girls, going to the beach, playing bingo, her annual Girls Summer Trip and spending time with her son Adam.

Surviving is her son Adam Stewart; brothers Grant (Nancy) and  Doug Stewart (Rose).

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by brothers Gordon, Gary and Murray.

Carol meant so much to so many, its hard to convey how much good she did in her lifetime.  She had left a hole in our hearts.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday May 3rd  from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.  Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4 from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Bonnie Langille officiating.
