Obituary of Stacia Cullen

It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Stacia Jean (Marshall) Cullen of Foxbrook Road on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the age of 65.

Born in Wolfville, NS, Mom was a self-proclaimed Army Brat having lived in many places including Germany and Oromocto before settling in Pictou County in her teenage years with her parents Helen and Hugh MacDonald.

Mom was truly the backbone of our family and with her soul mate Allie by her side, they created a happy life, strong in love, compassion and unconditional support.  Mom enjoyed hosting all the big holiday meals, pool side BBQ’s and loved camping at Apple Brook with Allie and her spoiled dog Tippy. She took great pride in her family especially her grandchildren.  No one made pancakes, porridge, hamburger soup or a second breakfast better than Nanny Stacy.  Words can’t express how much she will be missed.

Stacia is survived by her husband, Allan Cullen, Foxbrook;  children, Amber (Shane) Watters, New Glasgow,  Ashley Ward, Westville, Cathy (Tom) Martin, Foxbrook,  Dwayne Cullen, Langley BC;   grandchildren,  Allan, Katie (Cameron), Zackery (Emily), Landon, Jamie & Jayden, and mother Helen (Skidmore) MacDonald, New Glasgow.

She was predeceased by her father Hugh MacDonald, sister Bonnie (Marshall) Hood, sister Rebecca in infancy and Mother in-law Bernice Cullen.

A private grave side service will be held at a later date.
