Obituary of Muir. Jean

Alma "Jean" Muir, 79, of Westville, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Sussex on June 19, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Helen Courtney. She was a member of the L.T.B.A. and a member of St. Paul United Church,. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with her family being very special to her. She will be sadly missed by daughter April MacLeod (Ray), Mt. William; son Kirk, Australia; grandchildren, Scott, and Troy Muir; Christian Kostuk; Robyn Lynn and Karman Muir; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers John David Courtney, Moncton, and Peter Countney, Churchill, Man.; and sister Marnie Courtney, St. John, NB. She was predeceased by her husband William "Bill"; son Shane; daughter in law Penni; brother Percy; sister Gay; and step-father Weeden Scribbner. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private family committal will be held at the Auburn Cemetery, Westville at a later date.
