Obituary of Ernie Hallam

It is with sadness we announce the death of Ernest George “Ernie” Hallam, 60, of Westville.  Ernie passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 in the Aberdeen Hospital.

Born in New Glasgow on April 23, 1963, he was a son of the late Norman and Shirley (Robertson) Hallam.

Ernie was a carpenter by trade.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cards and playing poker with the boys and having a good conversation with his friends at Tim Horton’s.  

He will be sadly missed by his wife Sherry MacAulay; son Travis, Trenton; sister Jody Fraser, Westville; brothers, Gerald, Salt Springs, Ken (Nancy), Westville; mother-in-law Florence MacAulay, Pine Tree; sisters in law, Maryann Bonvie, Anderson Mtn; Cindy MacAulay (Kevin Boutilier), Chance Harbour; several nieces and nephews.  

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by father in law Roddie MacAulay.

Ernie is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  His funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev.
