Obituary of Ronald "Butch" MacNaughton

The family of Ronald Carter “Butch” MacNaughton sadly announces his passing on April 17, 2023, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Born  on August 8, 1947, Ronald "Butch" was a son of the late James and Frances (Carter) MacNaughton.

Butch was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy from, 1969- 2001 settling in Fredericton after his retirement.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing sports and especially his little dog.

Ron is survived by his wife Evelyn, daughter Brittany and sister Judy Lemieux (James) .

Butch was predeceased by his parents, his sister Sally Leithead (Stewart) and brother James.

A grave side service will take place at 1 o'clock Tuesday August 8 at the Auburn Cemetery with Rev. Gail Johnson-Murdock officiating.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Fredericton SPCA.
