Obituary of Cheryl (Lacey) (Armsworthy) Lynds

The family of Cheryl Lynds, 78, of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, is saddened to announce her passing on Monday, August 14, 2023.

Born in New Glasgow, Cheryl was the youngest daughter of the late Len and Vi Lacey. 

She is survived by her sons Ron and Keith Armsworthy, her brother Harold (Emily) Lacey, her sister Beverly (Brent) Cameron, five granddaughters Nicole, Danielle, Cassandra, Morgan and Kirsten, great-grandaughter Bella, a niece, several nephews and husband Percy Lynds. 

She was predeceased by her parents and nephew Brad Lacey. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Glen Haven for their care over the past four years. 

Visitation will be held at Eagles Funeral Home on Thursday, August 17 from 6-8 pm . Her funeral service will be held on 2 o’clock  Friday, Aug. 18 from Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joanne Neal officiating. Interment in the Auburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bee’s Anglican Church Westville or to the Pictou County Food Bank.
