Obituary of Brenda Beaton

It is with sadness that we announce the death of our wife and mother, Brenda Anne Beaton . Brenda passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the Aberdeen Hospital with family by her side.

Born in New Glasgow on September 24, 1952, Brenda was a daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Kelly) Muise.

Brenda was a truly genuine person who positively impacted the lives around her. Despite her many years of extreme medical issues and the family health struggles, she continued strong in her faith and concern for others. Always worried about others over herself defined Brenda as a person. Her love for family and faith in God were at the center of who she was. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten

She will be dearly missed by her husband Joseph “Joe”; daughter Kim (Tim Mansour), Lyons Brook; sons Paul (Cynthia), Truro; Alex and Adam at home; grand children Keegan and Jenna; Courtney and Neil; Madison, Anthony,Cameron and Neelah; great grand daughter Emma and brother Mike (Jo Anne) Muise, Pictou Landing.

Brenda was predeceased by her daughter Lesley Roddick and brother Anthony "Tony" Muise.

There will be no visitations.  Her funeral service will be held 11 am on Monday, October 23 from The Church of The Holy Name, Westville with Father Charles Cameron officiating.  Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory may be made to the V.O.N.
