Obituary of Audrey Francis

Audrey May Francis (MacGillivray), of Pictou Landing, passed away November 29, 2023 at the age of 74.

Audrey was the daughter of the late Charles Dunn MacGillivary and Josephine Kennedy.

She is survived by sisters Helen MacDonald, Mississauga, Ont.; Margie Silver, Halifax; Alice Terris (Vernon), Alma; Jackie Wiseblatt (Paul); Carolyn Marshall, Bridgewater; Joan MacDonald, Bridgewater; many nieces and nephews.  The joy of her life was her family, friends, and her beloved cat Sam.

Audrey was predeceased by her sister Shirley Hill.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation or service per Audrey’s request.

Hummingbird

Joy is like a hummingbird,

Such a fleeting thing,

Pausing for a moment,

Swiftly taking wing...

But it leaves an imprint
