Obituary of James Roddick

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Robert Roddick Jr, age 87. 

James was born September 19, 1936. He was the son of James Robert Roddick Sr and Viola Jean (Porter). 

Jim lived his entire life in Union Center operating a small farm. He was an electrician by trade working for several contractors in the area, ending his career at Michelin Inc. One of his passions was flying, owing his own fleet Canuck at one time. He enjoyed music and dabbled in various instruments. 

He is sadly missed by his wife of 63 years Alice Mae (Collie) Roddick, daughters Donna (Peter) Shreenan and Melinda Roddick, sons, Terry Roddick (Matt Watson), Dale (Rozan) Roddick, grandchildren Rachel (Adam) Casey, Jason Shreenan, Courtney (Danielle) MacQueen, Neil Roddick, Brent Roddick, great grandchildren Aydon and Nodya Casey, and Alanna, Lauryn and Bodhi Shreenan, extended family Danikka McLean (Jordan), Karrarah, Kinsley, Charlee, sister in law Maureen Roddick and several nieces and nephews. 

Jim was predeceased by his parents, parents in law Fraser (Mae) Collie, brother John Charles Roddick, daughter in law Lesley Roddick (Beaton).

There will be no funeral or visitation by request, cremation will take place under the direction of Eagles Funeral home in Westville.
