Obituary of Donald Palmer
It is with sadness we announce the death of Donald Osborne Palmer, 86 of Westville. Don passed away on February, 22, 2024 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Hazel Glen on June 19, 1937, he was a son of the late Patrick and Alice (MacPherson) Palmer.
Don was a well known plumber, working for MacKay’s Heating and Plumbing for over 50 years. After retiring from MacKay’s, he continued his trade doing private work. Don was a member of St. Paul United Church. Donnie enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Don was a member of the Pictou County Light Horse Club and was a great supporter and worker at the Pictou North Colchester Exhibitions.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Edna (Munro); son Scott (Jennifer) and grand daughter Megan. He is also survived by his sister Evie Munro (Albert); brothers Jim (Theresa) and Andy and sister-in-law Elizabeth Palmer.
