Obituary of Russell Wooldridge

It is with sadness that the family of Russell Myers Wooldridge, age 73, Mill Brook, Pictou Co., Nova Scotia formerly of P.E.I. announces his passing on December 2, 2010 peacefully at his home. Born January 21, 1937 in Peaks, P.E.I. , Russell was a son of the late Wallace and Florrie (Jay) Wooldridge. He is survived by his sons and daughters, Christine (Dean) MacAusland; Kenny; Rosalie; Donna (Robert) Simopoulos; Valerie (Bill) Given; Glenda and Mark; sisters, Lena Myers, Edna Steele, Cecelia MacLean, Flora Mullen (Don), Doris Birt (Billie); brother Renie Wooldridge and locally by brother-in-law Lloyd Fraser and sister-in-law Myrtle Wooldridge. He was predeceased by sisters, Evelyn Fraser; Nora Jay; Olga Jay; brothers, Bruce and Leith Wooldridge. Visitations will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Sunday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in Mill Brook Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory may be made to the Mill Brook Cemetery or to a charity of one’s choice.
