Kathy, Larry, Sharon, Patsy, Chris and David:
I have many fond memories from childhood visits in London when Mom would be shopping and drop by to see Aunt Marion. As an adult I had the pleasure of having her stay in my home in Kamloops. She always had a twinkle in her eye and her laugh was contagious! She usually had a cheeky comment for Dad when he would tease her. My husband often comments how very alike Mom and Marion were! They were two peas in a pod! Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time as you grieve the loss of your Mom. It is precious to know that she is in the presence of her Lord and Saviour now and for eternity.

By my marriage to Jean in 1960 I thankfully inherited sister "Marion ! "
At first only by mail because they were living in Germany and we in Brazil.
But Upon returning to Canada visits were as frequent as possible , some even lasting weeks as we traveled between NS and Ontario etc.
As sisters Marion and Jean had a very close bond that had endured from childhood , that was wonderful for them both.
I was privileged to know Marion not only as a family member but as a sister in the Lord . Often would read the Bible together and encourage each other in our in our daily walk with the Lord.
A special memory of mine is .
In the early 90s when we three were privileged to travel by car across the western provinces.
We visited extended family and friends on that extended trip.
Together we enjoyed the beauty of creation that daily surrounded us as we covered the many miles.
Jean and Marion would be recalling their many childhood experiences and often sing hymns together . It was such a wonderful time we all had together.
During these later years the phone became our means of communication. That was often enhanced when Sharon would establish a FaceTime connection so the sisters could see each other as they talked together . That became a great experience for them both !
Well in closing . Our earthly memories are enhanced by the knowledge that Jean and Marion are with their saviour in glory right now !
Sure we sense their loss greatly,as I send my condolences, but they are together enjoying the fellowship of the Saints in the presence of their Saviour.
Lots of love Derrick .
