Obituary of Christine Judith Cameron

Christine Judith Cameron, 60 (January 31, 1964 - August 16, 2024)

Toney River, Nova Scotia

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Christine Judith Cameron on August 16, 2024, at the Aberdeen Regional Hospital with her husband by her side. Christine was the daughter of Judith Elaine Taylor (Jardine) and the late Herman James Taylor.

Christine was predeceased by her sister Theresa Fielding. She is survived by her husband Dana Cameron, mother Judith Taylor, brother Todd Taylor, brother-in-law Mike Fielding, sister-in-law Pam Cameron, and sister-in-law Dawn Scissons. She was a loving Aunt Tina to Amanda (Chris) Fielding, Landon (Jody) Taylor, Kristin (Paul) Fielding, Mathew (Kendra) Brennan, Megan (Luke) Taylor, Taylor Fielding, and several great nieces and nephews.

Christine met her husband Dana during his time and NSTC. She graduated from Lucien’s Beauty School in Truro and very much enjoyed hair styling. Christine worked as a banquet waitress and bartender at the Glengarry in Truro for many years. She also worked at Stanfield’s and Shaw helping to provide for the household until Dana convinced her to stay home and enjoy more of her life.

Dana’s wonderful and beautiful wife and friend grew up on her parents’ hobby farm in Onslow and greatly enjoyed the animals. Her favorite times were spent with her mom (Mimi) cooking and reading books. Christine’s love of reading led her to dream of someday becoming a published novelist. She worked tirelessly on her novels with much joy and satisfaction.

Christine will be remembered as a kind and caring spirit who loved her family and pets. Anyone lucky enough to have met Christine will remember her as a most beautiful person, and she will always be greatly missed.

The family is grateful to the Aberdeen Hospital doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and staff, VON, and EHS for the care and kindness they provided.

Visitation will be at the Eagles Funeral Home in Westville, Nova Scotia, Saturday August 24th from 11am-2pm with a service to follow, 2:30pm at that same location.

Donations in memory of Christine can be made to your charity of choice.
