Mary K. and I are saddened to hear of Steve’s passing and have fond memories of him. We extend sincere sympathy to all family members at this difficult time. We are in Cape Breton and will not be back in time for the service tomorrow. Otherwise, we would be there. “Nick” served his community and beyond very well and will be missed and long remembered. Rest in Peace

Stephanie & Family, so sorry to hear about your dad. I remember when my son Jonathan was three and a half and he went missing at the Highland Mall and he was right there to help me out and find him. i will always remember Stephen (Nick) for his love for Cathy his girls and grandchildren . His laughter kindness and the first to help no matter where what or how . Long hours on duties with St John Ambulance (his help with the "not me ghost") and so many other ways he let his light and love shined .So my great friend "Go Rest High On That Mountain" You will be missed and were loved Jessie MacKenzie

We were so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He is flying with the angels now and will be forever protected by our Lord. It is a time of tears but as days pass it will get easier. You will never forget your loving husband and father but you will learn to live with his passing. Knowing in the end we will all be together again. Love to you all. Sue and Les Holley
