Mark Laverne McIntyre
July 2nd, 1963 – Sept 7th, 2024.
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mark Laverne McIntyre September 07, 2024 at the age of 61 years.
Mark was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on July 02, 1963. His parents Cyril, Marie and big brother Dwayne welcomed the handful into their busy life.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his partner Wanda Green; children: Tyler (Ashleigh) and Dustin (Tina); grandchildren: Mackenzie, Declan and Caelie, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was a stubborn, bullheaded man but to those who truly knew him knew he was as soft as a teddy bear with a heart of gold.
Mark wasn’t afraid of anything and there wasn’t much he couldn’t do, from mechanics, professional bull riding and owning and operating his own long haul trucking company…

He was a true, old school gentleman and went out of his way to help anyone.
October 7, 2018 Mark arrived in Nova Scotia, where he settled in Westville, where he spent his remaining years with his loving partner, Wanda. He became an active member of the of the Stellarton and Area Lions Club, joined a bowling league and also a dart league. He loved summers at the beach, exploring the various waterfalls & travelled . He lived large and loved hard.
His happy place was spending every weekend at the race track with his bbq, and the trailer. He enjoyed family dinners, and his boys smoking delicious meals that he could brag about.
He touched the hearts of so many and was taken way too soon. We love you Mark, Dad, Grandpa.
