Heartfelt condolences to all of Mary's family and friends. She was a much beloved CWL member at Holy Name and continued to come to our events when she could and it was always wonderful to see her. She will definitely be missed by her CWL sisters. She has gone to her well earned heavenly reward as she was definitely a devoted daughter of the heavenly Father.

There are plenty of flowery words we could use to describe Mary Murphy but a simple “ joyful “ word comes to mind . From the day I met her the outpouring of love and joy in her was infectious . A solid hard working lady , a great team she and Dennis were . Kindness and caring for others was just a natural gift Mary had and I know she passed that on to her children .john and I loved both Mary and Dennis ,they both were a joy to be around When you get together I’m sure Mary will be front and centre somewhere watching with such love and pride ,at a job well done . I absolutely adored Mary Her smile was contagious and she had the best sense of humour Her baking was out of this world I loved all the years we volunteered together for our Durham strawberry teas We laughed in the kitchen preparing food and she always made me wear an apron and she is why I collect aprons❤️

We will surely miss you Aunt Mary and always coming to farm the yummy smells of the wood burning stove and the fresh baked biscuits and the stories and all the hummingbird feeders around the windows. We will always remember you and we all love you very much and may you rest in peace

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mary. I meet Mary many years ago here in New Glasgow through crafting and partaking in Christmas craft sales. She was a lovely and funny lady. Also her husband, Dennis. When I realized they were from Margaree and Belle Cote it made it even better, knowing many of their relatives. May God comfort you at this time and the days ahead.
