Obituary of Peg Rudle

Marguerite Howett "Peg" Rundle. Age 90 of Valley View Villa formerly of Diamond Street, Westville passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Crawford) Dunbar, Abercrombie. She was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family to the fullest. Peg was always there to offer a helping hand to whomever may have needed her. She enjoyed knitting and cooking and was a member of the Westville Heritage Club and was a member of the St. Paul United Church, Westville. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Faye (Edwin) Fraser, Mill Brook; Roberta (Charles "Buck") Jackson, New Glasgow; sons, Bill (Brenda), Mill Brook; Tom (Tanya), Westville; Robert, New Glasgow; and daughter- in-law Susan Rundle, New Glasgow grandchildren Charles(Dien) Jackson, Lunenburg; Clarence (Michelle) Jackson, Upper Cornwall; Tom (Jeannie) Fraser, Watervale; Kim (Jamie Litt), Bridgewater; Stephen ( Jill) Fraser, Mill Brook; Leanne (Todd) MacDonald) Little Harbour; Mandy Rundle (Mike) B.C.; Kelly Rundle (Mike Hatfield) Halifax; Melissa ( Mike Marshall), White Hill; Tracey (Keith Greene) St. John’s Nfld.; Christopher Rundle, New Glasgow; Trevor Rundle, Dartmouth; Brady Rundle(Christa Barnes), Salt Springs; Frankie Rogers, Plymouth; and Devin Rogers, Westville; 22 great grand children and 2 great great grandchildren. and brother Bill Dunbar (Lou), Abercrombie; and sisters in law Jean Halliday, Westville; and Eileen Daley, Truro. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence , twin sons Frankie and Johnnie, her sister Elizabeth "Toots" MacDonald and brother Frank Dunbar. Visitations will be held on Saturday, January 1 at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held 2o’clock Sunday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
