Obituary of Danny Harnish

Charles Daniel "Danny" Harnish, age 34, of Central West River, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 27, 2011. Born in New Glasgow on April 14, 1976, he is a son of Dennis and Rhoda (Henley) Harnish, Central West River. Danny was a graduate of West Pictou High School. He was an employee of Irving Mainway for the past 13 years and Danny was a member of the West River Fire Department for over 15 years. He will be sadly missed, besides by his parents, by his sister Carla (Kevin Banks), Cold Lake, Alberta; aunts and uncles, Dianna and David Tree, Kaye and Jim Fleming, Josie Reid, Gordon and Hazel Henley, Adam and Cathy Henley, Donald and Hazel Henley, Gaynell Henley, Ruth and Phillip Fisher, Murray and Jean Harnish, Joe and Tammy Harnish, Mike and Mary Harnish, Ben and Della Harnish, Gerald Harnish, and Jessie Harnish; and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Dora and Henry Henley and Maud and Eldon Harnish; uncles, Ralph Henley and Doug Harnish, and aunts, Ida Fleming and Stella Harnish. Visitations will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 1 o’clock Sunday from Eagles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Spring burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations in his memory may be made to the West River Fire Department or a charity of one’s choice
