Obituary of Dennis Marshall

It is with great sadness, the sudden death of our brother, Dennis Colin "Denny" Marshall, 55 , formerly of Campbell’s Road, Westville, occurred on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at his apartment in Dartmouth. Born in New Glasgow, he was a a son of the late Alex and Jean (Murrell) Marshall. Denny loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and greatly loved playing his guitar and writing his songs. Dennis is survived by sisters, Enid Teed, Westville; Ramona Hardy, Sarnia, Ont.; Verna Baddow, Sarnia, Ont.; Barbara Fraser (Sonny), Charlottetown, P.E.I.; brothers, Garfield, Oxford; Alex "Abby" (Genesta), Deep Brook; and Allen (Barbie), Mississauga, Ont. ; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Vernon and Thomas "Buddy"; and sister Brenda Hendsbee-Manuel. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Grave side service will be held at a later date.
