Obituary of Patricia Fitt

Patricia Ann (O’Brien) Fitt, 64, Maple Crest Seniors, Stellarton, formerly of MacKay Street, Westville passed away peacefully at home May 2, 2011. She was the daughter of the late James and Annie (Walsh) O’Brien of Mackay Street Westville. Patricia was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was happiest spending the day with her much loved family and her cat Charlie. She is survived by her sons Jim Fitt (Charlotte) Munroe Ave Ext and Dennis (Janice Poole) Fitt, Truro. She is also survived by brothers, Jimmie (Ida) Westville, Colin (Sandra) Westville, Allan (Cindy) Westville, and former husband Jim Fitt along with several nieces and nephews. Her most favoured treasures were her grandchildren Amanda, James, Megan and Andy Fitt and Lucas and Caitlin Poole. She was predeceased by her parents James and Annie O’Brien, chosen sister Dorothy Cotnoir, brothers William and Thomas O’Brien. Visitation will take place at Eagles Funeral Home on Thursday, May 5th, 2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock Friday from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville with Father Evo Dipierro officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made in Patricia’s memory to the Holy Name cemetery or a charity of your choice.
