Obituary of Johnny Stewart

John Cameron Stewart, 48, of Westville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John Joseph "Joe" and Catherine (Mintern) Stewart, Westville. Johnny had a passion for writing poems and songs, enjoyed walking and had tok a great interest in collecting hockey cards. Johnny will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Wendy, Dartmouth; Joe (Sharon), Stephen, Nancy Rushton (Rod), Chris, all of Westville; Gary (Ann), MacLellan’s Brook; and Rob (Adele), Union Centre. He was predeceased by grandparents Don and Jean Stewart and Bill and Minnie Mintern. Visitation will be held Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 11 am. Saturday at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Cremation will follow. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens
