Obituary of Diane MacPhee

Diane Elizabeth MacPhee, 66, of Bridge Avenue, Stellarton passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Annie (Forbes) Thompson. Diane lived in Stellarton all her life, enjoyed going to dances and loved to laugh. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Roberts, Stellarton; son Ross MacPhee (Christina), Central West River; aunts, Alice MacKenzie (Ian), Mill Brook; Annie Halliday, Ontario; and uncle, Robert Thompson, Westville. Diane was predeceased by her husband Harold MacPhee; companion Daniel Rector; and brother, John Ross Thompson. Visitations will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Wednesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery. www.
