Obituary of Eve MacKenzie

Eva Grace (Munroe) MacKenzie, age 82, of 1 Oak Place, Dartmouth, N.S. died peacefully on January 16, 2011 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Eve was born on August 21, 1928, in Whitehead, Guysbourough County and she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Della Munroe. She was a long-time resident of Dartmouth and a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Stellarton. She is survived and sadly missed by her son James (Moncton) and grandchildren John (Jennifer),?Mazerolle Settlement and Sarah Benn (John), Edinburgh, Scotland and her sweet great-granddaughter Ashlyn (Mazerolle Settlement). Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William, her sisters Ruth, Ruby, Jennie and brother Roderick. She will be missed by her sisters Pauline Barteaux, Isabel (Earl) Wile, brothers Ernie (Paulette) and Lee, her nieces and nephews, friends and carers. The cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Eagles Funeral Chapel in Westville, NS, on May 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Rev Charles MacPherson of Stellarton officiating followed by an interment at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. All family and friends are welcomed.
