Our mother was an amazing role model and supported us and other extended family members. She enjoyed and celebrated many family functions, especially with her brothers and sisters with laughter and joy including July 1 get togethers. Mom experienced a wonderful relationship with her good friend Margaret Rushton and through their unique kinship were just like sisters, enjoying their many road trips. We would like to thank Dr. Aaron Smith, Dr. Gerry Farrell and the excellent staff and volunteers from the Palliative Care Unit for their heartfelt care our mom received during her short illness. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request.
