Obituary of Michael McEachern

Michael Edward McEachern, 54, of Churchville, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Winchester, Ont., he was a son of the late John and Doris (McCallum) McEachern. Mike was a landscaper by trade and had worked with Village Green Landscaping for several years until his illness. He was a very jolly, outgoing person, always willing to help out any way he could. Mike was an avid animal lover, especially enjoying his 4 dogs. He will be sadly missed by his wife Theresa (MacRae); daughter Cindy, Ont.; 2 grandchildren; brothers, David (Tanja), Westville; Terry, Ont.; sisters, Joyce Jollota (Ralph); Erma Froats (Ron); Elizabeth Hunter (Wayne), and Shirley Brown (Rick) all of Ontario. He will also be sadly missed by Theresa’s children, Paul Pace, Julia Armstrong, Kathleen O’Laney; Amanda Pace, Shane Pace, Tina Thistle, and their children. He was predeceased by his brother Dalton. Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. He will then be transferred to Winchester, Ontario where his funeral and interment will take place. Donations in his memory may be made in the form of a gift to his family.
