Obituary of Evelyn Fraser

Margaret Evelyn, "Evie" Fraser, age 88, of Angel Street, Westville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at home. She was born in 1923 in Stellarton and was the daughter of the late David and Hilda (Flemming) Cummings. She will be sadly missed by her husband Archie; children, Lynda Fraser (Chuck Jaschke), Montreal; Carolyn Fraser, Truro; George (Cathy), Calgary; and Hazel Briand, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Harry (Kim), David (Stephanie), and Christina MacDonald, all of London, Ont. ; Leigh and Karl Jaschke, Montreal; Stephanie Fowler, Ottawa , Allison Fowler, Fredericton; Stephen Fraser (Margaret), Calgary, Julie Hanson (Swen), Calgary ; Matthew and Luke Briand, Lawrencetown; and 4 great-grandchildren, David , Duncan and Fiona MacDonald, London, Ont., Gunnar Hanson, Calgary; brothers, Robert Cummings (Helen), Stellarton; and Willard Cummings, B.C.; sister Isabel Megeney, Glen Haven Manor. She was predeceased by brothers David, William, and Edmund Cummings ; twin infants; and sisters Audrey MacDougall , Marie Taylor and Mary Rundle. Visitations will be held Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Sunday at Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens
