Obituary of Robert Boehk
Robert Gordon Boehk, 85, Plymouth passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in Valley View Villa, Riverton.
Born in Westville, he was a son of the late Robert and Goldie (MacLeod) Boehk.
Bob had worked for the Department of Transportation for twenty years until retirement
He served with the Royal Canadian Navy during W.W.II and was a member of the Admiral Murray Naval Association where he was area vice president fo a number of years. Bob was also a member of the Scotia Lodge # 11, I.O.O.F., Westville
He will be sadly missed by his wife Vivian (Rae); daughters, Cathy, Dawson Creek, B.C.; Kyla, New Glasgow; and son Jamie (Elena) Edmonton, Alta.
Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by a sister Nan.
Cremation has take place. His family will receive visitors on Friday from 7-9 pm (only) at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. The Scotia Lodge # 11 will hold a service at 6:15 Friday at the Funeral Home. The Admiral Murray Naval Association will hold a service at 6:45 Friday at the Funeral Home. His memorial service will be held 2 o’clock Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Gary Tonks officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, the Canadian Diabetic Association or a charity of one’s choice. .
