Obituary of Graham MacFarlane

Clarence Graham MacFarlane, 60, of Stellarton, formerly of Westville, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 28, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, he is a son of Ivy (Russell) MacFarlane and the late Clarence “Spankie” MacFarlane, Westville. Graham was a baker for Tim Horton’s for over 16 years. He was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #34, New Glasgow and a member of the Legion Dart League. He liked all sports and played soft ball in his younger years. Graham was a very tender person who greatly enjoyed his family and friends, especially his pet dog Bella. Besides his mother, Graham will be sadly missed by his wife Audrey Holland; step-daughter Cindy MacKenzie (Terry Skidmore), Dartmouth; two grandchildren, and one great grandchild; sisters, Donna Dixon (Seymour), Sheryl Snell (Barry), Joyce O’Neil (Nelson), all of Westville; Christa Church (Richard), Windsor; several nieces, nephews, nine sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. Graham was predeceased by his father and brother David. Visitation were held Monday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #34 conducted a service at 3 o’clock Monday at the Funeral Home. His funeral service was held 2 o’clock Tuesday Nov. 1, 2011 at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. . Interment took place in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
