Obituary of Art White

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lewis Arthur "Art" White, Park Street, Stellarton, in his 84th year, on November 26, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Toronto, Ontario, he was a son of the late John Wesley and Annie Georgina (Downing) White. Art owned and operated Art White Music Services in Toronto for 13 years before retiring. He was a member of the Abercrombie Golf & Country Club. Art loved to play golf, listen to music, jog and take long brisk walks. He was a loving and devoted husband, brother and special uncle, who will be sadly missed but will remain in our hearts forever. Art is survived by his wife of 51 loving years Mary "Jean" (Allan) White; his sister Hazel and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Norman Wesley White and sister May Flatby (White). Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto. The family wishes to thank Dr. G. Farrell, Dr. E. Soliman and all the caring Palliative Care Nurses for their kindness and support.
