Obituary of Eleanor Cameron

Eleanor Marie Cameron, Foster Avenue, Stellarton passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton, on November 8, 1919, she was a daughter of the late George and Ellen (MacInnis) Cameron. Eleanor lived most of her life in Stellarton. She was a hair dresser by profession working in Truro for a number of years. She later opened her own hairdressers, Cameron’s Beauty Salon first in Westville and later in New Glasgow where she operated for many years. She will be sadly missed by her sister Virginia and brother, George both of Stellarton. Eleanor was predeceased beside her parents by a brother Wilfred. There will be no visitation. Her funeral service wa held 11 am Thursday from the Church of The Holy Name, Westville with Father Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial was in Lourdes Cemetery.
