Obituary of Terry Heighton

Wilfred Terrance "Terry" Heighton, age 65, of Stellarton passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, Terry was the son of the late Wilfred and Edwina (Wilson) Heighton. Terry was a life long resident of Stellarton, had a great love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and sports fisherman. He also had quite the knack and greatly enjoyed working on vehicles and doing body work. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gene (MacKenzie), daughters, Terry McChesney (Greg), Stellarton; Eleanor Bruchet (Stephen), Calgary; Rozanne Razon (Richie), Calgary; a son Willie (Teanne), Calgary; grandchildren, Tegan, Drucilla, Dreyden, Ebony, Anna-Grace, Brody, Kaitlyn, and Riley. He is also survived by his sisters, Brenda Vincent (Cyril), Stellarton; Beverly Ward, Stellarton; chosen brother, Wayne Callahan (Ella), New Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no funeral service by Terry’s request. His family will receive visitors at the Stellarton Fire Hall on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
