Obituary of Janice Dooley

Janice Anne Dooley, 47 , of Hamilton Road, Westville passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in the Q.E.II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax with her family at her side. Born in Pictou, Janice was the daughter of Raymond and Lorraine (Doucette) Cyr, Westville. Janice lived in Westville most of her life and was a member of the Church of The Holy Name. She graduated from Westville High School in 1983 and Nova Scotia Teacher College in 1986. She pursued a 23 year career with Maritime Tel and Tel and Aliant achieving the role of Business Office Manager. Janice always a had a positive outlook in life and faced her many challenges with a smile. Her greatest pride were her children. She will be sadly missed by her husband Donald; son Lucas and daughter Jessica; her parents, Ray and Lorraine; brother Ray Paul (Marla), Fort Myers, Florida; niece Renée and nephew Marc; mother and father-in-law, George "Huck" and Mary Dooley, Westville; and several close aunts, uncles and cousins. Janice rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville Wednesday April 25. Her funeral service was held 11 am Thursday April 26 from the Church of The Holy Name with Father Gerald Campbell presiding assisted by Father Donald Boudreau. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
