Obituary of James Rankin

James Leonard Rankin, age 58 of Riverton, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2012 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with his family at his side. Born on February 8, 1954, he was a son of Betty (MacDearmid) Rankin and the late James "Bud" Rankin. Besides his mother Betty, Trenton, his is also survived by his sister Beth (Dan) Campbell, Trenton and brother Matthew (Crystal), Trenton and several nieces and nephews. Jimmie was predeceased by his father, Bud, in 2000. Jimmie’s family will have his interment in the spring at Little Harbour Cemetery. His family is grateful to the staff at the Riverview Adult Residential Centre for the good and loving care they have given to him over the years. We also appreciate the kindness and compassion of the doctors and nurses at the Aberdeen Hospital. "He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and their will be no more death or sorrow or crying of pain. All these things are gone forever" . Revelation 21:4 Jimmie is now safe in the arms of Jesus.
