Obituary of Bill Andrews

The death of William Robert Andrews, age 90, occurred on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at his residence in Westville. "Bill" was a proud and private man who had a great love for his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier years and in more recent years he looked forward to bowling and card playing. He worked in construction for many years in Ontario and upon moving to Nova Scotia he spent nine years with Michelin until his retirement. He spent his retirement years in enjoyment of friends and family and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved puttering with wood in his basement and was quite handy at building and repairs. He is survived by two daughters, April Darroch (Allan), Westville and Cindy Andrews, New Glasgow; two granddaughters, Erika McCluskey (Troy), Westville and Jennifer Spears, Halifax; three great grandchildren Jakob, Keira and Cassidy McCluskey, Westville; a sister in B.C., Rhylla Giffin (David) and a brother in B.C., Roy (Celine). Bill was predeceased by his precious wife Neta ; brothers, Rex, Lloyd and Eric and sisters, Dorothy, Rae, Lillian, Margaret and Gwendolyn. There will be no funeral by his request and no flowers by request.
