Obituary of Louise White
Louise White, Nelson Street, New Glasgow, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Louise was raised in Wine Harbour, a daughter of the late Clyde and Robina (Benoit) Hartling.
She was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 50 years, first in Kentville and later Westville. She enjoyed going to socials at the legion, especially dances and darts and also enjoyed traveling to visit with her family. She had a great sense of humour, was full of life and made everyone laugh who met her.
She will sadly missed by her beau, Ronnie MacLellan; her children, Sherrie, B.C.; Kirby, B.C.; Kevin (Jeannie), New Glasgow; Charlene Henshaw (Day), Middle East; Holly Thévoz (Olivier), Switzerland; Kenda (Jeremiah Burkham), Beaver Bank; grandchildren, Patricia, Amanda, and Seraphina White; Naomi and Natasha White; Cory, Ryan, Robert and Nathan Henshaw; Thalia and Noah Thévoz; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother Charlie Hartling, Halifax.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Alfred “Potsy” White; several siblings and a great-grand daughter.
There will be no visitations or funeral service. A grave side service was Tuesday at Baptist Cemetery, Wine Harbour with Rev. Vaughan Henshaw officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society. Services are under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
