Obituary of Adèle LeBlanc

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Marie Jeanne “Adèle” LeBlanc, Water Street, Westville at her home on Saturday, June 20, 2009. She was born in Iles de la Madeleine, Québec, the daughter of the late Philippe and Adéline (Déraspe) Lapierre. She is survived by three daughters, Bernadette LeBlanc, Madeleine (Aurel) Desrosiers, and Simone (Carl) Coady. She is also survived by ten grandchildren: Mylène Leblanc-Hardy (Preston), Natasha (Jared) MacKenzie, Anita Leblanc, Diana Leblanc (Jason MacKenzie), Nicolas Leblanc; Michelle, Nathalie, Justin, and Simon Desrosiers; Emily Coady; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother and three sisters. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William, three brothers and two sisters. She was an active member of the Church of the Holy Name, a charter member of the CWL, and a member of the Legion of Mary. She was dearly loved by family and friends and will be sadly missed. Visitations will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday from the Church of The Holy Name, Westville with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will be in t he Holy Name Cemetery
