Obituary of Florence Porter

Florence E. Porter, 84, of Westville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, November 4, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Allan and Patricia (MacKenzie) Marshall. Florence volunteered several years at the gift shop at the Aberdeen Hospital. She enjoyed cards, crib, dancing and going to Tim’s. She is survived by 7 children, James “Tuggie”, Brenda, Gloria, Barbie, Carl, Mike, and Patti; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Barb and Beatrice; brother Kenneth and several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by close friends Norma and Don. Florence was predeceased by her husband Murray Porter. There will be no visitation by her request. A private family burial will take place at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Donations in her memory may be made in her memory to 5 South or Aberdeen Palliative Care
