Obituary of Holly Marshall

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend Holly Marie Isaline Marshall. Holly passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and closest friends on Saturday, November 16, 2013, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born February 10, 1982, she was the daughter of Mabel (Hanson)Marshall, Westville and Gilbert Marshall, Westville. Holly spent a great amount of her life as a manager for Tim Horton’s where she made many friends along the way. One of Holly’s favourite pastimes was watching the Toronto Maple Leaf’s games with family. She also enjoyed being an aunt and had a natural way with children. She is survived by brothers, Allen Marshall; Michael Marshall (Amy Conway); sisters Nicole Marshall (Dukas Davis); and Jamie Marshall (Joseph Hallam), all of Westville; nieces Haillie Sarty, Anna Davis, and nephew Chayce Fiander. Holly also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as best friends Crystal Munroe, Crystal Wood, Lisa Fraser, Veronica Nickerson, and Sheryl Osborne, as well as life long friend Michelle Bailey. Visitations were held Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Eagles Funeral Chapel. Cremation followed. Donations in Holly’s memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
