Obituary of Rick Rolfe

Richard Ernest “Rick” Rolfe, 61, Clish Street, Westville, formerly of Springhill, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Springhill. he is a son of John Hibbert “Hibbie” Rolfe and the late Marjorie (Perrin) Rolfe. He was retired from Michelin Tire Corp., Granton. Rick was a strong person who would do anything for anyone. He loved his 18 year old pet dog “Bud”. Rick will be sadly missed by his daughter, Marsha and son Jeremy both of Bouctouche Reserve, N.B.; grand daughter, Cheyenne; former wife Ann; sisters Dianne Arsenault (Jack), Ont.; Rose Embree (Ed), Springhill; Jane Rolfe, Springhill; Serena Rout (Harold) Alberta; brothers, Darrell (Paulette), Lochbroom; Doug (Judy), Springhill; Breck (Marg), Oxford; Stephen and Michael, Springhill. He was predeceased by a sister Gloria Hurron. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. at Rick’s request. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date. Services are under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
