Obituary of Norman Johnstone

Norman Dennis Johnstone, 62 of Westville passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 in Valley View Villa, Riverton. He was a son of the late Peter and Beatrice (Garney) Johnstone of Westville.. Norman marched to the beat of his own drum. He will be fondly remembered and missed by his family and friends, too many to mention. Norman is survived by sisters, Penny Duggan, Westville; Jane Bond, Walkerville; Beatrice Weaver (John), Halifax; Ida Quesnel (John), Montreal; Caroline Atwater, Stellarton; brothers, Fraser Johnstone (Lesley), Westville and Paul Johnstone, Linacy. He was predeceased by his sisters Brenda Emilio, Cameal Carlyle, Wanda Morris and Theresa Butler; a brother Peter “Sonny” Johnstone. Norman was comforted to the end by his caring angels at Valley View Villa. Thank you. Cremation has taken place. His family receivedfriends on Sunday Feb. 9 at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. No flowers by request. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Interment will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
