Obituary of Lynn Chalker
Linda “Lynn” Joyce (MacNaughton) Chalker, 63, of Munro Street, Westville, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family
Born in New Glasgow on June 29, 1950,she is a daughter of Lew MacNaughton, Westville and the late Joyce (Daley) MacNaughton.
Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, were the world to her. We hope you remember Mom for her quick wit, never being without a quick come back and her world class cooking.
She will be sadly missed by her father, Lew; husband of 44 years, William “Bill”; daughters, Kari MacNaughton (Danny McInnis), Braeshore; Stacy Joudrey (Steve), Westville; Amiee Gosbee (Wayne), Houston, TX.; Angela Graham (Gordon), Truro; grandchildren, Tyler and Riley; Andrew and Kourtnee; Kelsee; Nathan, Tanner, Kynslee; great-grand-daughter Selena; sisters and brothers, Lou Anne, Westville; Carol MacLean (Doug). Westville; Robbie (Bonnie Scott), Westville; Wendy MacLean (Bill), Salt Springs; Judy DeCoste (Joe), Green Hill; Kathy (David Fraser), Westville; Kelly (Mike Wilson), Westville, and Michael (Marlene), Westville; mother in law, Evelyn Chalker; brothers and sister-in-law Maureen, Allan, and Kevin Chalker.
She was predeceased by great-grandchild Madison.
Lynn rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting will on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Her funeral service was held 11 am Thursday February 13 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Cremation will follow. Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society, the N.S. Lung Assoc. or the S.P.C.A.
