Obituary of Kim Guthro

Kimberly Lee Guthro, age 57, of Office Street, Westville, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 24, 2014 at her home. Born in Kingston, Ont., she is a daughter of Ruth (Spanks) Guthro, Westville, and the late Clifford Guthro. With her father in the Armed Forces, Kimberley grew up in Oromocto, and graduated High School there. She worked in Thompson, Manitoba , working in the hotel industry for over 20 years. After the death of her father, she and her mother moved to Westville in 1999. Besides her mother, Kim will be dearly missed by her brother, Clifford (Christine), Ottawa; and nephew Clifford (Melanie), Gatineau, Que.; 4 grandnieces and nephews; close friend Cherrie and Francis Logue, Oromocto. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her brother David. Cremation has taken place. Her memorial service was held 11 a.m. Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Aidan Kingsbury officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Assoc. or the N.S. Heart and Stroke Foundation.
