Obituary of Lisa Kennedy

Lisa Dawn Kennedy, 31 of Westville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in Halifax. Born in New Glasgow, Lisa was a daughter of John and Faye (Sarty) Kennedy. Westville. Lisa will be dearly missed by her parents and sister, Rhonda (Scott Hill), Hopewell, brother, Dan, Ottawa; aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Catherine Sarty and paternal grand parents, Daniel and Irene Kennedy, uncle, Bobby Sarty and cousin, Janet Jordon. Lisa was a smart, talented young lady who had a great passion for music and was an accomplished guitarist and singer. Lisa also had a passion for poetry and art. She loved to laugh and left a great impression on all whom she had met. She enjoyed animals, volunteered at the Dartmouth S.P.C.A., and will be missed by her own pets, Nyla and Baby. Lisa rersted at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville Her funeral l service was held 11 am. Saturday from the Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory maybe made to the S.P.C.A. or the Canadian Diabetic Association.
