Obituary of Joey Yorke

Joseph William "Joey" Yorke, age 42, of Westville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his residence. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Phyllis (Power) Yorke and the late Gordon Yorke. Joe was a cook by trade . He was a member of the Westville Salvation Army and was active in Red Cross. He will be sadly missed by his mother Phyllis; sisters Helen Cornett (Mark Brennan), Saint John. N.B.; Susan (Martin), Truro; brothers, Robert (Shauna), Truro; John, Alberta; Charlie (Indira), Stellarton. Cremations has taken place. There will be no visitations or funeral service. A family grave side service will be held at a later date. Donations in Joey’s memory may be made to the Red Cross.
