Obituary of Kenneth Harrison

Kenneth Ronald Harrison, age 79, of Porters Lane, Westville, formerly of Union Centre, passed away in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, on Monday, August 11, 2014. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Harold George and Stella Marie (Lyons) Harrison. Ken was a small engine mechanic and operated his own business, Ken’s Small Engine Repair. He is survived a son Keith and daughter Robyn Harvey both of Newfoundland; a sister Linda Stevens (Ted), Upper Sackville, and step-son Richard, Pugwash. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen “Kaye” in 2013. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A grave side service for Kenneth and his wife was held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16 in the Birch Hill Cemetery, Rocklin (behind Middle River Church), with Rev. Gary Tonks officiating. Service is under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
