Obituary of Elizabeth Stewart

Elizabeth Stewart, age 95, of Westville, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Elizabeth was a daughter of the late Rupert and Jessie Fraser (MacPherson) MacNeil. She was a member of the Crystal Fountain Rebecca Lodge #18, Murray Temple Pythian Sisters, and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Westville. Elizabeth is survived by daughters Marion Mahoney (Ray), Pictou; Audrey Fennell (Richard), New Glasgow; grandchildren, Stewart Mahoney (Liz), New Glasgow, Philip Mahoney, Westville, Elizabeth Glenwright (Robert) Fredericton, Graham Mahoney, Victoria BC; Leslie Ford (Bill), Stellarton; several great-grandchildren; 3 step-grand-daughters Kelly, Erin, and Ashley Fennell. She was predeceased by husband Harry B. Stewart in 1959. There will be no visitation or funeral by request. A family grave side service will be held. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, the V.O.N. or the S.P.C.A. Granton.
