Obituary of Edna Bunckle

Edna Bunckle, age 94, of Valley View Villa, formerly of Durham, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in Valley View Villa, Riverton. Born in England, Edna was a daughter of the late Norman and Harriet (Brown) Robson. Edna was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Choir, Westville and the Legion Choir of New Glasgow. She played the violin and sang many duets with her sister Doreen. Edna will be dearly missed by her husband of 67 years, Harry; son Geoffrey (Anne); daughter Barbara ; grandchildren, Darcy (Ashley), David (Jocelyn), Alison (Ryan), Lauren (Mike); 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by sisters, Gwin Snell and Doreen Marshall MacKenzie and brother Roland Robson. Edn arested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Friday. Her funeral service was held 11 o’clock Saturday August 30 from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Westville with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Burial was in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
