Obituary of Larry Breziniski
Lawrence “Larry” Donald Brezinski, age 70, Mt. William, formerly of Union Centre passed away very peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at his home lovingly surrounded by his family.
Born in Buchanan, Sask., on November 3, 1943, he was a son of the late Paul and Doris (Hrynkiw) Brezinski.
A caring person, Larry owned and operated Shady Oaks Rest Home in Union Centre, providing a loving home for many for 37 years. He had a passion for gardening. His family was most important to him, being a loving husband, and proud father and grandfather.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Lynn (MacLeod), daughters, Lesa Fraser (Dale), Mt. William; Teresa Brezinski, Truro; sons Danny Brezinski (Susan MacLeod ), Rocklin; John McLeod (Anissa), Halifax; grandchildren, Colby and Megan Fraser; Natasha and Ayden Brezinski; and Kaelan McLeod. He was also survived by a brother Jack (Carole); niece, Alison Heeney; nephew Kevin Brezinski, all of Harley, Ont.; and mother-in-law Lillian MacLeod, Stellarton.
He was predeceased by an infant brother Gerry.
Larry is rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Tuesday . His funeral service was held Wednesday from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville with Father Tom MacNeil and Father Donald Boudreau officiating. Cremation followed Interment was in Birch Hill Cemetery, Rocklin. Donations in his memory may be made to the Birch Hill Cemetery.
