Obituary of Tina MacGillivary

Catherine Gertrude “Tina” MacGillivary, 89 of Westville passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Tina was born in the Netherlands in 1924 and moved to Canada as a “War Bride” in 1946. She was a home maker who took great pride in her children and enjoyed sewing, knitting and in her early years dancing and going to dog shows. She is survived by her son Jack (Margie), Pictou; daughter Ann Campbell, Westville; grand daughter Sandra Campbell, Westville and sister Ann Heynes, Netherlands. Tina was predeceased by her husband Whitman Edison “Ed” MacGillivary in 2005. A family grave side service was held at Heathjerdale Memorial Gardens. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Westville or the S.P.C.A. A
