Obituary of Jean Halliday

Jean Helen Halliday, 94 of Porters Lane formerly of Victoria Street, Westville passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Mary (Kennedy) Rundle. Mrs. Halliday is survived by her sons, Harold (Jennie), Westville; Russell (Alaine), Churchville; grand children, Randy, Laura, Ryan, Michelle, Stephen and Chris; great grand children, Emma, Justine and Adam; great great grand daughter, Layla and sister, Eileen Daley, Truro. She was predeceased by her husband, Luther; son, Blair; sisters, Martha, Ida and Mabel and brothers, Clarence, Tom and Jim Rundle. Mrs. Halliday rested at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Saturday.Her funeral service was held 2o’clock Sunday April 12 from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Spring burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Glen Haven Manor.
